This Week's MIP Digest
Video from Chloe Cole's Hyannis event, Exposing ALA hypocrisy, Protect your kids from Sextortion, and more.
It’s time for another edition of the MIP Digest!
The MIP Digest is a regular feature where we share the great information that has been posted to the MIP Facebook group during the previous week. The MIP Digest won’t capture all of the interesting comments and conversations that happen in the Facebook group, but it will include the highlights and provide a quick overview of the content, in case you missed it.
First, here are the posts from our Admins:
Did you miss seeing Chloe Cole in Hyannis? Here's where you can watch her *excellent* speech, and more!
What a great day we had for the "Teens Against Gender Mutilation" event on June 24th. The skies cleared right before the event started, and the truth was spoken about gender ideology.
To listen to Chloe's speech, visit her twitter HERE (and then share this with all of your friends - of any age!).
And click over to the original FACEBOOK POST for more video and pics. If you attended the event and have your own pics to share, drop them in the comments.
Thank you, Chloe, for your bravery in sharing your story - and thank you to everyone who organized, supported, and attended this event!
Go see Sound of Freedom in the Theaters!
I just saw THIS MOVIE. I am speechless. The United States is the #1 consumer of sex exploitation in the world.
Dear God. We have to do something to stop this.
Start by watching this movie and telling everyone you know about this movie. And then determine in your heart that you will do something.
Pray. Give. Speak.
New Snap research finds: Two-thirds of Gen Z targeted for online “sextortion”
If your kids are online *at all*... you'll want to see this!
Jacqueline Beauchere, Global Head of Platform Safety for Snap Inc. (the parent company of Snapchat) has presented findings from new research exploring how Gen Z teens and young adults have been targeted in online “sextortion” schemes. You can read about her report HERE.
From the article:
"Sixty-five percent of Gen Z teens and young adults, on all platforms and devices – not just Snapchat — said they or their friends were targeted in online “catfishing” scams, or were hacked by criminals who stole explicit personal imagery or other private information. In both scenarios, the resulting photos and videos were then used to threaten or blackmail the young people, with abusers demanding money, gift cards, more sexual imagery, or other personal information in supposed exchange for not releasing the material to the young person’s family and friends.
Half (51%) of respondents said they or their friends were targeted for, or victims of, catfishing, and 47% of those cases targeted respondents directly over the prior three months.
Meanwhile, 47% of respondents said they or their friends’ devices or social media accounts were hacked, with 39% of those instances happening to respondents in the last quarter."
These numbers are terrifying, especially when we know that some sextortion victims have resorted to suicide after believing that their embarrassing photos would be revealed to their family members.
We previously shared Walker Montgomery's story in MIP HERE.
And check out THIS Fox News article for stories on other victims.
These "sextortionists" target teenage boys and young men, and the only way to protect them is to talk to our sons and warn them! Let's protect our boys and share this message.
Happy 4th of July!
MIP wishes you a happy Independence Day! As we enjoy a wonderful day of celebration with family and friends may we remember that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Let us never stop fighting to protect our most vulnerable fellow citizens - our children.
Exposed: More Orwellian Doublespeak from the ALA
Today on the MIP Substack, we are exposing the ALA's Office of Intellectual Freedom, which really should be called the "Office of Freedom for Me but not for Thee." The ALA is big mad about how many people are supporting Kirk Cameron's BRAVE Books Story Hours, and they want to put a stop to his nationwide "See you at the Library Day" on August 5th.
(Because apparently allowing their taxpayer-funded facilities to make room for views that don't align with theirs simply cannot be allowed!)
From the post:
"In June 2023 the American Library Association’s Director of the ALA Office for Intellectual Freedom gave a talk entitled “Libraries and the First Amendment: Book Bans, Meeting Rooms, First Amendment Audits and More.” This presentation, given as part of the virtual Library 2.0 Conference, was shared on YouTube...
...She says: “…so if you have a Kirk Cameron Story Hour booked in your library you could actually have a library-sponsored pride festival the same day and fill the library with rainbows and have other programming in place…”
(What, other programming… like Drag Queen Story Hour?)"

Mark your calendar for this Story Time event in Danvers!
Great Rock Church in Danvers is hosting a Kids Book Reading and Activities event with Ms. Caroline at the Peabody Institute Library on July 22nd at 10am.
Ms. Caroline will read: "Pride Comes Before a Fall," by Kirk Cameron and BRAVE Books.
For a special message about this event, click HERE.
For more information on this book, click HERE.
About 40 people attended last month's Kids Book Reading and Activities event hosted by Great Rock Church at the Peabody Institute Library. We love seeing positive events like this growing! Bringing your kids to God-honoring story hours like this is good for their socialization and growth, but that's not the only benefit. Bringing your kids to events like this demonstrates the need for story time alternatives, and it shows library staff that there is patron interest in wholesome children's titles that promote godly values.
Mark your calendar for July 22nd and join Ms. Caroline for this event. And please share this with your friends!
Public Comment Countdown... only 51 days left!
Everyone, did you know there are only 51 days left to send DESE your public comment on the new draft Comprehensive Health and Physical Education Framework? That may sound like a lot of time, but we all know that time flies when you're having fun! And while we hope you have a lot of fun this summer, we don't want time to fly by so fast that you forget to submit your public comment.
Today, along with your friendly reminder to submit your comment to DESE (there's a link in the first comment to MFI's simple submission form, to make your life easier!), we are also sharing this great new resource.
We have put together a pdf one-sheet (front and back) that you can share with friends, family, your unconvinced neighbor, playgroup parents, your legislators, or anyone who needs to know about the graphic and harmful content in DESE's draft framework. It's just a sample of the concerning issues with DESE's draft and it doesn't include everything, but it's a great way to introduce new people to the CSE agenda, what it means for MA students, and how to take action against it.
Click HERE for the free download!
You can share this document electronically (we recommend this, so you can access the links in it), print it, or share the photos on this post.
As of today, there have been 254 emails sent through MFI's simple submission form alone! Let's see how high we can get that number over the next 51 days! Use THIS FORM to send your email, or click HERE to read about other submission options.
