The public schools will continue to push Leftist ideology no matter what parents, Washington, or the Supreme Court say. The best way to educate your children from a Christian viewpoint is via private school, or homeschool. We took our son out of public school after third grade, when we read the "woke" writing on the wall- and in the curriculum. Our daughter's Social Studies book literally defined the purpose of government is to, "tell people what to do, and how to live." Our son went on to speak three languages and become a professional classical and jazz pianist and singer.
This seems like a situation almost identical to that in the Mahmoud v. Taylor case handed down by the US Supreme Court about six months ago. Which means that ACLJ and MLLC are likely to do very well with it, and the school is likely to lose badly. I am all agog.
I realize all of this is going on, because I’ve been paying attention long enough, but I’m constantly floored at how deeply these schools are committed to indoctrinating children, with a near religious zeal. These are KINDERGARTNERS. It’s hard for me to not say that what we see is evil. I never used to use that word in the context of discussions like this, but there’s really no reason not to anymore. Public schools do not value parents as having a role in the upbringing of their children.
I’m shocked at how much time and effort these “educators” put into brainwashing children. Again, this is kindergarten.
While I am a homeschooling mom, and did so before COVID led others to explore it as an option, I 100% stand behind parents whose children are fighting to defend their children who are in public schools. What I do isn’t an option for many. I will not give up defending these children.
I’m a Vermonter and former Massachusetts resident. I know that what I see here is going on all around me. It’s discouraging to feel like you’re fighting a tide, but most parents are busy and don’t know the extent of these efforts. What you’re doing here is invaluable. Please keep exposing it.
I wish the parents success with their lawsuit. This is why elections matter. Democrats elect judges who support this stuff. I’m a former Dem myself and new to conservatism, but I don’t think I could trust them again for a long, long time. This ideology will not go gently.
