Great News - the (Un)Healthy Youth Act is DEAD!
RIP, Sex Ed Mandate. Today we celebrate a win for parental rights!
The 193rd session of the Massachusetts legislature officially ended this morning, and we are happy to announce that the SEX ED MANDATE BILL IS DEAD!
Check out these past posts to learn more about the dangers of the (Un)Healthy Youth Act: HERE, HERE, and HERE.
Parents still need to be vigilant about the sex ed coming into their children’s classrooms, because schools may still plan to teach graphic sex ed and gender ideology through DESE’s radical new Comprehensive Health and Physical Education Framework. But today, we celebrate because schools have the CHOICE to implement DESE’s CHPE framework. It’s not a mandate. Parents can tell their school committee that they don’t want to follow this new Framework, and if they decide to anyway, parents can vote them out.
Thank you to all of you who contacted your elected officials to oppose this harmful bill! Together, we made a difference!

Though, I find it horrifying that you are celebrating that schools aren't mandated to harm children. Keep vigilant indeed!
Still, good news.
